As your valued partner in Women's Health, we would like to inform you that as of August 1, 2013, Hologic Inc. is required to comply with the Physician Payments Sunshine Act.

The Sunshine Act requires Hologic to report information on all transfers of value to physicians and teaching hospitals, such as honorarium, grants and entertainment, to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) on an annual basis. In response to this requirement, Hologic has implemented internal procedures to record, track and report these payments.

The initial tracking period runs from August 1 through December 31. All transfers of value made during this time will be reported to CMS by March 31, 2014. Future reporting will be done on a calendar year basis.
