An experienced radiologist discusses contrast enhanced digital mammography as an alternative to breast MRI: This informative session 60 minute session will discuss integrating CEDM into clinical practice with in depth discussion of relevant clinical cases.

  • Revealing possible pitfalls one may encounter and how to overcome them
During this session the faculty will present cases ranging from simple cases to more challenging cases to further illustrate the significance of this modality.

The session includes a clinical perspective of new high resolution imaging with the latest generation of synthesized 2D software. In addition gain insight into the value of the evaluating breast density using volumetric assessment breast density assessment software.

Each participant will have the opportunity to view representative cases on an imaging workstation using the SecurView® Dx Imaging Software. The session will conclude with a faculty led review that will discuss final diagnosis while encompassing practical solutions and correlating ancillary imaging results.

3D Mammography™ Going Beyond the Basics

A workshop designed for radiologists that have implemented 3D™ imaging in to their practice and want to increase their confidence and expertise in the use of this technology. This 75 minute session provides useful techniques from radiologists with several years of experience. Clinical cases were specifically selected for this session to illustrate each of the presented challenges.

Understanding the Impact of Tomosynthesis in the Evaluation of Dense Breast Tissue

Experienced breast imaging radiologists provide insight into 3D™ imaging of breast tissue of the various BI-RADS® categories in this 60 Minute session. The focus will be on understanding the impact and benefits of tomosynthesis in the evaluation of dense breast tissue.

  • Compliance with dense breast patient notification letters

An experienced radiologist will discuss the total biopsy solution and how the addition of 3D Mammography™ to current practice may introduce new challenges that can be solved using tomosynthesis-guided breast biopsy. The 60 minute workshop will provide a clinical perspective to 3D™ image guided breast biopsy procedures with focus on the Affirm® Prone Biopsy System.

The lecture will be followed by a hands-on case-based demonstration of the 3D™ image guided breast biopsy procedure using the Affirm™ Prone Biopsy System and Brevera® Breast Biopsy System with Corlumina® Imaging Technology.

This session is limited to 12 attendees.
