Welcome to Hologic's New Traveler Experience Program!
 
We are excited to officially launch this new program designed to enhance the travel experience for Hologic employees while working to achieve greater cost savings. Throughout the year we will be communicating numerous program updates, the availability of new tools and technology as well as  best practices as we partner with our employees to achieve these valuable goals. 

In this inaugural communication we are focusing on enhances support, new tools and technology, as well as a best practice all of which will assist travelers greatly.
   
West Coast Hours Added
To better serve our employees located on the West Coast, we have added Travel Desk telephone coverage from 3pm to 8pm PST Monday through Friday effective March 2. During these additional two hours, American Express Travel Counselors will be available to arrange travel for our employees. These Travel Counselors  will have access to all Hologic reservations, profiles and policies in order to assist Hologic employees. The telephone number remains the same: 508-263-8450
 
 
 
TripCase
 
Hologic is very excited to offer you access to the American Express Integrated TripCase experience, a web and mobile application designed to help improve your travel experience by assisting you with your travel and business service needs .  This email is designed to provide you with all of the information necessary to begin taking advantage of this tool today. 

 
TripCase Features and Functionality
TripCase integrates seamlessly with American Express Global Business Travel so when you make a reservation, critical travel information will be forwarded automatically to your mobile device, including:
 
  Itinerary with air, hotel, and car rental
  Real-time flight status alerts notifying you of gate assignments as well as delays and cancellations
  Destination weather
  Maps integration
  One-click access to call American Express Global Business Travel
 
The next time you book travel through American Express Global Business Travel, your trip will automatically upload into your account. If you have not registered for TripCase prior to booking your new trip, you will receive an email from TripCase with an invitation to sign up. Concur Expense
New Expense Reporting Tool Arrives in May!
 
Hologic will be replacing iExpense with Concur’s integrated Travel & Expense solution in early May, 2015  which will provide the following benefits:
 
  Ability to manage your travel and expenses anytime, anywhere with the increased convenience and flexibility of a mobile application, including receipt capture using your phone’s camera to eliminate scanning, faxing or mailing.
  Ability to combine trip data from Concur Travel, Corporate card data from JP Morgan, and E-receipts from various vendors.
  Include real-time searches of healthcare providers to satisfy Sunshine Act reporting.
 
 
TrackPoint
 
TrackPoint is a tool currently available to the Travel Department to quickly locate all Hologic employees traveling on business in the case of an adverse event.   Locating all employees is essential so we can provide assistance to the traveler --including a move to a safer locale if necessary.  As TrackPoint can only track travelers who made their air and hotel arrangements though American Express Travel, it is required that all travel is booked either through the Travel Desk or Concur’s Cliqbook On-line Booking Tool; otherwise we would be unable to assist you in an emergency.  Our goal is to keep employees safe and this is an important tool should we ever need to use it. 
 
 
Online Booking
 
Hologic encourages all US and Canada travelers to book arrangements using the Concur On-line Booking Tool for airline, hotel and car rental. The benefits of our on-line booking tool are 24 hour access and support in addition to a significant reduction in transaction costs. This tool should be used:

  substantially all  US and Canada-based air travel
This tool should NOT be used for:
  complex air travel with multiple destinations
 

international flights (outside of US and Canada)

  flights scheduled to depart within 3 days
 
Company-wide, we currently use the On-line Booking Tool for less than 40% of travel booked through American Express Global Business Travel. Best Practice amongst our industry peers is in excess of XX% of all travel is booked on line. Our goal is  to increase our on line booking rate  to 80% by the end of fiscal 2015.  Transaction fees are double the cost when booked with the Travel Desk as compared to on-line booking.
