To retain the text formatting (color/font) of the template, place your cursor in the middle of the placeholder text and overwrite/delete incrementally instead of selecting it all at once. (Selecting placeholder text all at once erases the formatting and uses default stationery fonts and colors.)
Experiencing a blurry/fuzzy image?
Check the image scaling of the picture. To do this:
Right click on image › Picture › Size
Sometimes the image is automatically pasted in at a scale of 133%. You may set it back to 100% or less – even ~75% will produce sharper results.
There is a KNOWN issue that animated gifs are not visible in Outlook 2013. It will rest on the first frame of the graphic. However, the animation WILL function on all other email clients when sending, so do still use it!

Graphics don't work in Plain Text emails. If have customers corresponding to you in Plain Text and you are trying to respond using this signoff, change the format to HTML and you will be able to use it.
