Reaching your Referring Physicians
Referring physicians may be the most important customers you serve, second only to the women of your community. Keeping them informed about new services and technologies, as well as the clinical standards of your center, is crucial to developing strong relationships. They are key to your success in building your business, since a woman's decision to have a mammogram is often made in the physician's office. Of all potential outreach projects, marketing to your referring physician base should be an integral part of your marketing plan.

Here are some points to consider:
What group of physicians can have the greatest impact on your business?
Educate them on your new offerings (3D mammography white paper or digital mammography white paper).
Are there new physicians in your area who should know about your services?
If appropriate, ask your referring physicians about placing patient pamphlets, posters, etc. in their offices that help educate women on the importance of screening.
