This program has been designed to provide physicians with insight into a new technology, breast tomosynthesis. This program will discuss how by adding 3D mammography to the 2D exam, more invasive cancers are being found than with 2D imaging alone: revolutionizing early detection.

Course Objectives

Understand the new clinical studies that show a significant benefit of using breast tomosynthesis in screening mammography
Recognize how mammography has been transformed by a new technology by finding more invasive breast cancers
